Christmas is one of the most important festivals for Christians when they celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, it is observed as the feast of Santa Claus by making image and, idols, suppressing the birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God and Prince of peace.

Many people are writing about Christmas, but none quoted Bible reference about making and worshipping ‘idols and images’ during the birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ, disobeying God’s commandment and decree. God said: “For I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me (Exodus 20:5).

Christmas is celebrated by two group viz. optimist group and pessimist group. The optimist group will eagerly wait for Christmas to participate in praise & worship, meditate upon the deeply rooted of words of God for spiritual growth during the Christmas message and pray for blessing for the extension of God’s Kingdom.

The pessimist group waits for Christmas for physical pleasure and enjoyment through intoxicated liquor, gambling, drugs, making idols, worship images, and explodes bomb, cracker and makes firework, violating the birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ.

People should know that when Jesus Christ was born, though the shepherds were excited, happy and joyous, they did not use bombs, crackers, explosives or fireworks. Likewise, people on earth believe that Jesus Christ is the Price of Peace on earth during the celebration of Christmas.

According to the Holy Bible, the word of God said: “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.” (Exodus 20: 3-7)

“Don’t not make yourself gods of silver or gold to be worshipped in addition to me (Exodus 20:23).”

According to the Holy Bible, the word of God said that those who violates God’s decree (s) will face punishment any time when time comes because the “Wages of Sin is Death” (Romans 6:23). No one can escape from God’s anger.
