DTE notifies on MCM based & PMS CS scheme scholarships

Kohima, August 31 (DIPR): Student pursuing professional and technical courses at under-graduate and post graduate level, recognized by the competent authority and securing not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination, the annual income of whose parents/ guardian, from all sources, does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh have been invited to apply online (mandatory) for Merit-Cum-Means based Scholarship (MCM) minority CS Scheme.

Student pursing Higher Secondary and Higher Education courses at under graduate & post graduate level, recognized by the competent authority and securing not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian, from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh have been invited to apply online (mandatory) for Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) Minority CS Scheme. According to a notification issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, students can register for the schemes through national scholarship portal www.scholarships.gov.in. The last date of student registration both fresh and renewal has been extended till 30th September, 2017 for both the scheme. No offline applications will be accepted. Community Wise Physical Allocation for MCM and PMS is as:

Info on Pre-matric scholarship for minority student

Principal Director, School Education, Smita Sarangi, IAS, has informed all the students and the Head of the Institutions, that the Ministry of Minority Affairs has extended the timeline for both Fresh and Renewal application submission of Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minority Students, through online mode till September 30, 2017, as the application received on the portal is very low as compared to allocation stipulated for 2017-18. All effort should be made to adhere to the timeline given by the Ministry on the portal.
