Dzukou Shooting C’ship from Dec 5

Kohima, November 26 (MExN): The 1st Dzukou Open Shooting Championship 2017 will be held at the Aries Shooting Range, Kohima from December 5 to 9.

 

Organised by the Dzukou Rifle Shooting Club, Kohima and Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Academy, Dimapur, under the aegis of the Nagaland Rifle Association, Dimapur, the shooting championship in Small Arms will be held as per the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) Match Book Rule 2016.

 

The competition is open to all genders for both Men & Women of all age group above 12 years. Matches will be conducted in the 10 Meter events viz., (i) D-001 – 10 meter .177 Peep Sight Air Rifle; (ii) D-002 – 10 meter Open Sight Air Rifle; and (iii) D-003 – 10 meter .177 Air Pistol.

 

Shooters will be allowed to participate in all three matches. However, shooters will need to make their own arrangements for Open Sight Air Rifles and Pellets. The .177 Peep Sight Air Rifles and Air Pistols will be available at the Shooting Range.

 

National Rule (NR) and International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Shooters will be allowed to participate only in achieving the Minimum Qualifying Score (MQS).

 

The top 8 scorers of the Qualification round will Compete in the Final round (ISSF). The winner of each Final Round Match will be awarded INR 5,000 as cash prize.
