‘Echoes of Music’ choral concert on January 28

The second season of the choral concert ‘Echoes of Music’ organised by the Harmonic Voices of Nagaland (HMV) will be held at the Regional Center of Excellence in Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma on January 28 at 4:00 PM.   With the aim to promote and bring choral music singing in Nagaland, the annual concert ‘Echoes of Music' will be held annually in January, said Mele Pucho, Managing Director HMV during a press conference at Dream Café, Kohima on January 24.   The choir will be performing both gospel and contemporary song for over an hour in various music genres.   Formed in 2014 and winner of ‘The Ultimate Hornbill Choir competition 2014’, HMV comprise of 17 members (five tribes) at present namely Akhrou Koza (Choir Director), Melekhoto Pucho (Managing Director), Alole Tunyi, Roupfiikhrienuo, Atone, Emilo Yanthan, Topeni K Assumi, Vileno Kapu, Cinu Hangsing, Vikhriezono Yore, Surhuveyi Tetseo, Pezet, Vezoto Swuro, Vepota Nyekha, Rükhetuolie Theünuo, Petenei Tacü (Pianist) and Nourhevilie Khate (violinist).   Priced at Rs. 300 and Rs 500, the tickets will be available at the venue and at Symphony music academy Kohima for advance booking.
