Community Mobilization & Training under SDEO Mokokchung held
Mokokchung, June 11 (MExN): Organized by the District Mission Authority, SSA, Mokokchung, Community Mobilization & Training under Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO), Mokokchung was held at Town Hall, Mokokchung on June 11.
According to a DIPR report, delivering the keynote address, SDO (C), Mokokchung, Abhinav Shivam asked the gathering to be the agents of transformation. Saying that education is the key to transforming a society, Abhinav said “we need to educate ourselves if we need to transform our society”.
He said many students in the school are from poor families. He therefore asked the people involved in educating and molding these children to consider the child as their own. The way we care the children we are nurturing the society Abhinav said. He reiterated that if we fail the child we are failing humanity and failing ourselves as humans for the way we care the children we are nurturing the society.
The programme was followed by technical session. Topics on Right to Education with specific reference to Re-constitution of SMC/WEC, Account maintenance & Record keeping, Inclusive Education were presented during the first session. During the second session, topics on Midday Meal, Learning Outcome & NAS 2017, OoSC/Residential Hostel and UDISE & SDMIS were presented followed by discussion after both the session.
