EE (Electrical) office building for PEP Kohima division inaugurated

A newly constructed office building of the Executive Engineer Electrical for Police Engineering Project (PEP), Electrical Division Kohima was inaugurated today.  

It was formally inaugurated by Er. P. Lanu Aier, chief engineer, Police Engineering Project, Nagaland, Kohima. Speaking on the occasion, he called upon the officers and staff to be more sincere than before and carry their respective assignments in a diligent manner.  

Urging the staff to take utmost care of the office building, Er. Aier also stressed on the need to beautify the atmosphere of the office building by planting trees.  

He asked the staff to maintain cleanliness and make the office a beautiful place to work.  

Also speaking on the occasion, Er. Takuyangba, superintending engineer, PEP, Nagaland; Kohima asked the officers and staff to take care of the office building and deliver good service to the public.  

Er. Kitoho, project engineer PEP Nagaland, Kohima in his technical report stated that the construction of the executive engineer (electrical) office for PED at Phesama was taken up under MOD 15-16.  

This particular work was funded by modernization of police department under MOD 2015-2016.  

The total estimated cost was Rs. 38.93 lakh which includes electrification, water supply and other civil works. The work was commenced on July 2, 2016 as per work order and completed on September 8, 2017.  

The building is hill type with 7 rooms, 3 toilets attached and a kitchen.   “Workmanship was satisfactory,” Er Kitoho said.  

Earlier, the function was chaired by Er. Toniho Achumi, executive engineer, electrical PEP Kohima.
