Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who is also in-charge of CAWD informed that there are eight ongoing EAC offices construction in the state.
Replying this to MLA Yitachu on the floor of the House, Rio furnished the total amount required for each such office to complete as follows; Englan- Rs. 7.00 lakh, Chetheba- Rs.22.31 lakh, Phor- Rs. 9.46 lakh,
Lephory- Rs. 63.25 lakh, Aghunaqua/ Nihokhu- Rs. 20.00 lakh, Yachem- Rs. 37.00 lakh, Hoshepu- Rs. 25.00 lakh and Alongkima- Rs. 80.00 lakh. Rio replied that a total amount of Rs. 105.00 lakh earmarked during 2018-19 against Hoshepu (Rs. 25.00 lakh) and Alongkima (Rs. 80.00 lakh). Replying to supplementary question as to why only two out of eight has been selected during 2018-19, Rio cited fund constraint as the reason. Yitachu argued that government was not doing justice, adding that equal distribution should take place. Yitachu requested the government that there should not be partiality when it comes to governance and administration to the people. Later, Rio assured the House that the government will look into it.
