Tuensang, July 1 (DIPR): District level training and ERO-Net launching programme was held at CKS Hall, Tuensang on July 1. ADC & ERO Tuensang, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon was the special guest on the occasion, which was attended by EAC HQ, BLOs, Supervisors and other staff.
Dr. Jeelani, in his speech, reminded the gathering about the goal of the government which is clean election. If there is clean e-roll, the election process will be clean and ultimately development shall follow, he stated. He encouraged the BLOs to work with fairness and not bias since they are appointed agents to clean the election processes.
He also launched the ERO-Net which will help the electoral works like filling up the forms, enrollment, and verification of the e-roll online. ERO-Net is an online portal which will inter grade the hierarchical stage in work towards clean election processes. New EPIC cards, EPIC registers, e-roll, BLO registers and form 6 and form 7 were distributed to the supervisors and BLOs.
