Dimapur, October 26 (MExN): The 5th Health is Wealth Day (Sports Day) of Eurokids International School, Dimapur was declared open on October 25 by Lieutenant Colonel Akhilesh Kumar, Officer Commanding, Assam Rifles.
Colonel Akhilesh talked about the importance of healthy mind and healthy body which will in turn develop healthy thoughts to become good sportspersons and also good in academics. He also lauded the effort of Eurokids School for bringing education to the next level through their unique teaching methodology which is very beneficial for the children in building their future.
A press release stated that the programme began with march-past by the small children who won the hearts of the audience as they swayed to the beat of the music. It was an exciting day in which each child had the opportunity to participate in various fields and track events and fun games, the release added. The parents also participated sportingly in the fun races organized specially for them. The winners were given medals and cups.
