The Evangelical Baptist Convention Church under its Karbi Anglong Field area, organized its 3rd Area Convention and hosted by its unit at Sunrise Colony, Burma Camp, Dimapur from September 22 to 24, 2017. Church members from Kohima, Dimapur, Manja and Diphu attended the Convention.
With the organizers and host facing problem for accommodating the guests, the Church approached the Commandant 32 Assam Rifles who readily came forward and provided mattresses and erected tents for guests and church members. This is the second time that the Assam Rifles extended such help and the Church expressed its gratitude to the Assam Rifles.
