Fazl Ali College gets new computer centre

A new computer Centre was inaugurated today at Fazl Ali College by Minister, Higher & Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along on September 6.  

The new computer centre was constructed under the Infrastructure Grants to college scheme of the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Department of Higher Education, Government of India and Government of Nagaland.  

Temjen Imna Along in his speech said, “Change cannot happen in one go but changes are happening and this change can be seen in the Department of Higher & Technical Education,” he said adding how RUSA project has been successful in its first phase in the state.  

The attitude with which we serve our people should not be just for serving ones pocket but it should be selfless he said and added that he is happy to see how Nagas are embibing the new attitude by working for the future of the people by citing how RUSA phase one project has been done transparently.  

He further added, “Everybody who is associated with the department of education to come together and work for the uplifting of the department so that we can create industrious institutions that will bring about premium citizens of the state.”  

The technical report of the construction of the Computer Centre was presented by Er. Senti, PWD (Housing), Mokokchung. Short speech was also delivered by Kuholi Chishi, Director, Higher Education, Nagaland, Kohima.  

The welcome address was given by Vice-principal, Fazl Ali College, Tiamongla and the closing remarks of the programme was given by Dr. Imtiwati Jamir, RUSA Coordinator, FAC.
