The fight for Power & Supremacy

The political leaders who are fighting for our cause will be morally responsible for our safety and welfare in particular. After decades of factional wars, our nation is now progressing to a new level of maturity. We studied the political history of the other nations which gained independence from their oppressors, but our struggle is different from theirs, and our stance is further strengthened because God is on our side. To resolve the present crisis that confronts us, we have to work according to the nature of the situation.
What we see now is that, the fight for power and supremacy is evident in many of our leaders. Truth is we have witnessed violence and it will be insensible if we are to only write about violence. If our stance for our nation is genuine, we should desire the good things that comes from God. Whoever is against   integration is against the Nagas. For God desires the Nagas to live together as one and to shine for His glory. We may be tempted to accept the praises of men and women for our contribution to the national cause, but do not be deceived, for it is a sin even to think of such things. It will be a tragedy if we are to forfeit our soul for the sake of the national cause.
In our struggle for freedom we have committed far too many mistakes and we cannot afford to repeat the same errors again. Though it may not sound good, truth is some are hungry for power that they can cheat, deceive and manipulate. In regard to this, the scripture says “Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambitions in your heart, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such wisdom does not come from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambitions, there you find disorder and every evil practices. But the wisdom that comes fro heaven is first of all pure, then peace loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peace makers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness”. (James 3:13-18)if we fight, steal and murder, we will have no peace either here on earth or in hell.
Everyone claims to be a leader of our people but only God will remove the false ones that the true leaders of our nation can rise for His glory. God has assigned responsibilities to different organizations but our own failures have marred the cause of our movement. If the leaders of our land wants to rule our nation, they have to obey God’s Word and follow His will. A lot of damage has been done to our reputation because of our appetite for destruction. Unity is the virtue we all want, and we can only have it if we have Christ in us. rather than fighting against our enemies, we seem to be more interested in condemning and destroying each other. It will do us no good if we continue living life this way. Freedom is what we all want, but division is what Satan brings. If our hearts are still hardened by malice and envy, God will pull us down. In the scripture we read “ What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You want something but you don’t get it. You kill and covet but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight, you do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures (James 4:1-3 ). The mirror of life clearly shows us what we truly are and if we still claim to be without sin, our own sins will ultimately destroy us ( 1 John 1:10 ).
Trust me its not between you and me, it’s between us and God. God has made it clear in His Word that He shall bring every deed into judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:14). The end is near and our salvation is more important than our movement. It will be really great if we attain independence from India. And it will even be greater if salvation becomes part of us. The battle is at its climax and we have to let God guide us as we fight for our nation. I am part of you, you are part of me and together we became His children by grace. Let us endeavor to contribute more for the cause as we live for His cause. Great will be our leaders if they follow the unique ways of God and merciful will bed our leaders if they follow the examples of the Word. Fight for our nation and stand by the truth. God is with us.
