Kohima, March 13 (DIPR): The Department of Finance has informed all concerned that the non-transaction Wednesdays i.e. March 21 and 28 are declared as transaction days both in Treasuries and Bank in the State. The non-transaction Saturdays i.e. March 17 and 31 shall be declared as transaction days for Treasuries and Banks in the State.
All departments have been requested to ensure that proposals for issue of DA/DL are submitted to the Finance Department on or before March 26, 2018 (Monday) except for those proposals under CSS, NEC, NLCPR, Negotiated Loans, etc., which may be sanctioned and credited to the State account only towards the end of the financial year. Departments may also ensure that all requisite details for issue of DA/DL are furnished along with their proposals for facilitating Finance Department to examine and dispose the proposals without delay.
All departments should ensure that the DA/DL issued by Finance Department are presented to and passed by the Treasuries on or before March 28, 2018 (Friday). It is to be categorically mentioned that no claim for cash payment will be entertained in the Treasuries after March 29, 2018 (Thursday), except on the strength of DA/DL issued by the Finance Department.
