Dimapur, December 15 (MExN): The world most renowned implant company, Nobel Biocare (Sweden) for the first time in entire Northeast, in collaboration with Indian Dental Association, Nagaland State Branch is conducting training on Clinical Dental Implant Programme in Kohima for the Northeast Dentists.
Dr. Kanir Bhatia from Mumbai, a high profile international renowned Oral Implantologist and Cosmetic Dental Surgeon, who is reason behind the smiles of famous Bollywood Celebrities, is the Mentor of the programme. The programme has been divided into two modules which stretch for the period of six months.
For the first Clinical module, the lectures and hand-on session were conducted at De Oriental Grade Hotel on December 12 and 13; and the Clinical Session were conducted at Advanced Dental Aesthetic & Implant Clinic, Kohima on December 14 and 15 along with Live–surgeries for Implants placement by mentor and all the participants on their patients. Participant of course varies from dental college professor, dental specialists and general dentists. Patient, all the way from Guwahati were part for the patients benefited from the course.
The vision of the Clinical Implant Programme is to create world-class outstanding and research certification in Implant Dentistry, develop the next generation of premier scholars and Implant dentists.
All the participants will be awarded Certificates on completion of the course. Dr. Pfukrolo Koza MDS, Periodontist and Oral Implantologist, who is also the Course Coordinator in a press release, stated that this course will give a big boost for the local dentists to be trained and to give their patients the latest oral rehabilitation treatment.
