First NITFaS 2019 concludes successfully

Winner of the NITFaS Rs.50,000 Entrepreneurship Competition & Award with the guest of honour Nibu Nagi, and NITCA President Augustine Reading Kaba.

Dimapur, February 23 (MExN): The first Naga International Trade Fair & Summit (NITFaS) 2019 which saw the participation of visitors and companies from the region and beyond came to a close on February 23.


The four-day trade fair & summit held in Agri Expo Complex, Dimapur featured company exhibition activities and business summit. The summit also provided the exhibitors an opportunity to pitch about their business and service in a live formal presentation format.


The closing day of the event was grace by Nibu Nagi, Managing Director of NN Construction & Decors where he exhorted the entrepreneurs and participants by sharing his experiences and suggestions on doing business.
The NITFaS 2019 also conducted the first NITFaS Rs 50,000 Entrepreneurship Competition. The award was sponsored by NN Nagi School, Dimapur.


The competition was done on a Live Formal Presentation & Pitching Format and judged by four expert panels.


A total of 8 company/business participated in the competition. The winner of the competition was awarded to Online Express Nagaland achieving 57 score points out of 80 full score point. The Guest of Honour and the panel of expert judges agreed to the conclusion that there is still a room of improvement and encouraged the other contestants to strive for better in the next and upcoming event to be hosted by NITCA in the future.


A press release stated here that NITCA President Augustine Reading Kaba stated that trade fair is an important element to bring in collaboration, and cooperation between various agencies, partners, companies, etc. to develop the economic activity. With a goal to promote a contemporary issue, NITCA President highlighted that the theme for the future Trade Fair will be “Meet in Nagaland”, and the event schedule for the next trade fair & summit will be announced shortly.
