Kohima, January 9 (MExN): The Forum for Naga Reconciliation has appealed all people to come and be part of the historic First Naga Day, to be held at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground) on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
In an appeal sent out today, the FNR also stated that the decision to organize Naga Day was taken only after consulting with Naga apex organizations. The first meeting to this effect was held on September 7, 2017, with 19 Kohima based tribe unions; the second meeting was held on October 13, 2017, with 35 apex Naga organizations in Chümoukedima; the third meeting was held on November 27, 2017, with 29 apex Naga organizations, also in Chümoukedima.
The FNR additionally announced that the Nagaland State Government has assured to allow all interested State Government officials to attend the Naga Day.
