Forest Colony Kohima joins Clean Election campaign

Kohima, January 22 (MExN): The Forest Colony Union, Kohima held an executive meeting on January 20 and concurred to support the NBCC and other NGOs for Clean Election to insure free, fair and peaceful election in the colony.  

The Union unanimously resolved to strictly no setting up of Election Youth Camps in the Colony; To follow the principal of “One man one vote”. Not to allow proxy voting and Booth capturing in any form in the colony; Not to practice intimidation or threat to ensure individual democratic right to vote to select the right candidate; No outsiders shall be allowed to interfere the Colony peaceful polling in the coming General Election; and neither supply of liquor or intoxicating substance in the Colony nor allowed to be use during the polling day.  

The Forest Colony Union, Kohima Chairman Ngamjok Konyak and General Secretary Ghokuto Kinimi in a press release has appealed to all the peace loving citizens of the colony in particular and to the People in General to abide by the resolutions and co-operate with the Union to ensure peaceful polling in the Colony.
