Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): A farewell programme was organized at the Directorate Conference hall, Soil & Water Conservation Department to bid farewell to four outgoing senior officers in the department. The four officer are Imkongneken Ao, Director; Hevikhe Sema, Additional Director; Temjen Longkumer, Project Director; and Imtiyongdang Ao, Joint Director.
A press note informed that during the programme, the Commissioner & Secretary, T. Nungsang Ao appreciated the outgoing Director for initiating cadre review of the department and other innovative programs and also conveyed good wishes to the retiring officials on behalf of Pukhayi Sumi, Advisor, Government of Nagaland.
The director thanked God for blessing him with a long and satisfying career and stressed on the importance of hard work and unity among the staff and also encouraged the officers and staff to work for the betterment of the department.
Hevikhe Sema also thanked God for His blessings and stated that he was excited to venture into a new chapter of his retired life. Temjen Longkumer thanked the officers and staff for their cooperation and support while Imtiyongdang Ao exhorted the officers and staff of the department to work cooperatively, understand each other and take the department to greater heights.
