‘GBs are pillars of government’

5th general conference of Northern Angami GBs Union held

The 5th general conference of Northern Angami GBs Union (NAGBU) was held today at Nerhema village with Nagaland’s Prisons, Printing & Stationary Advisor H. Haiying as the special guest.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Haiying said that GBs are the pillars of the government and asked them to closely associate with the government and work together for the overall development of the state.

 

He said that GBs are the responsible person for which they should play important role in delivering justice to the people.

 

Vineipra Pienyü, president Kohima District GBs Union also exhorted the gathering.

 

Dizolie Virie, chairman Nerhema Village Council and Kedilezo Keditsu, advisor NAGBU also spoke on the occasion.

 

The programme was chaired by NAGBU president Khozolie Kiewhuo while welcome address was delivered by Rüünyü Kenguriise, Head GB Nerhema village. Vote of thanks was proposed by NAGBU joint secretary Thekruneiu.

 

The conference was hosted by Nerhema Village Council.
