GHS Jalukie conducts sports meet

DIMAPUR, MARCH 19 (MExN): The Government High School Jalukie today in collaboration with Jalukie Assam Rifles and ARC Ahthibung commenced its 3 days sports meet. 

The event was inaugurated with the national anthem followed by sports contingent march past on national songs. Resource persons of ARC and the Ahthibung post commander motivated the students towards adopting sports as a regular activity and urged them to pursue it religiously. 

The Ahthibung Running Club also provided sports material and resources to the school authorities for smooth conduct of this event. 400 Students and 14 teachers and village authorities including women groups attended the inauguration ceremony at the school premises. Headmaster, Kughavi Yeptho and from his entire staff side expressed his gratitude towards Jalukie battalion and ARC, Ahthibung for helping in smooth conduct of the event.
