GHSS Wokha annual award ceremony cum parting social held

Wokha, November 16 (MExN): Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Wokha held its 2nd annual award ceremony cum parting social (Cl-10 & Cl-12), both Arts & Science, on November 16 at the School Auditorium with DC Wokha, Orenthung Lotha as the special guest.

A DIPR report stated that addressing the students, DC urged the students to respect the legacy, and live by example for others to follow, and he reminded them to give their best and work hard as there is no shortcut to success.

Further, he appealed to all sections to extend support towards the welfare of this institution so that it will grow and achieve more in producing responsible citizens in future.

Str. Principle, GHSS Wokha, Y. Vungthungo appealed to the outgoing students to be ambassadors of this institution, and one day come back and do something for the institution as well as the society so that the hard work and sacrifices made by the teachers will not go in vain. 

Special guest of the function handed over citation certificates and cash to the following, Teacher of the Year - L. Mharoni Odyuo (PGT-Education), Class Teacher (Higher Secondary Section) – Mhonbeni Murry; Class Teacher of the Year (Senior Section) –Thungchanbemo Humtsoe; Employee of the year- Mhabemo Odyuo, Academic Excellency & Distinction awards were also honoured to the following teachers: Libeno Ezung (PGT English), Ejanbeni Ngullie (PGT History), Zanbeni (GT) Ayanbeni (GT) and R. Monbeni Ezung, Vice-Principal. All the awards and certificates were sponsored by the school authority.
