Girls’ sports competition cum workshop under BBBP

Participants of girls’ sports competition cum workshop under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao held at Pfutsero on March 23. 

Pfutsero, March 23 (MExN): A one day girls’ sports competition cum workshop under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao of Pfutsero Sub Division was conducted on March 23 at Pfutsero Sports Complex. 

Zeneikhonuo Vimero, ADC Pfutsero in her keynote address briefed the background and objectives of BBBP launched by the Govt. of India as a national campaign to promote girl child education. 

She spoke on the importance of equal treatment to girl child to bring about progress in the society.

Later, Kelhikha Kenye Programme Coordinator BBBP Pfutsero highlighted the programme to the gathering and urged the girls to look forward towards positive change in the society.

The programme was led by Obed Yhobu, president Pfutsero Town Youth Forum.

The sports event was marked by football volley ball and basket ball games.
