GOC Spear Corps calls on Governor of Nagaland

Kohima, August 13 (MExN): Lieutenant General Rajeev Sirohi, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) Spear  Corps called on RN Ravi, Governor of Nagaland on August 13 at Raj Bhavan, Kohima.

A press release issued by Lt Col L Vincent Patton, PRO, HQ IGAR (N) stated that the General Officer and the Governor discussed about the security situation in the State as well as on the Indo-Myanmar border. “The Governor appreciated the Security Forces for their steadfast dedication and devotion to duty in maintaining peace and tranquility in the State in spite of numerous challenges,” it said. 

During their meeting, the Corps Commander also assured the Governor of all cooperation and assistance by Army and Assam Rifles to the people of Nagaland for achieving peace, development and prosperity, the release added.
