DIMAPUR, APRIL 15 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has extended its Ceasefire (CF) agreement with the Government of India (GoI) for another year. “(The) Government of India and GPRN/NSCN have mutually agreed and decided to extend the Ceasefire Agreement for a period of one year” with effect from April 28, 2019 to April 27, 2020, informed a press release issued by the MIP, GPRN/NSCN on April 15. The release stated that it was decided after thorough deliberation “to uphold the agreed ceasefire ground rules both in letter and in spirit.” The GPRN/NSCN was represented by Jack Jimomi, Supervisor of the GPRN/NSCN Ceasefire Supervisory Board, Members John Lotha and Chenmjeim Konyok, and Member Secretary Hotoi Awomi. The GoI was represented by Satyendra Garg, Joint Secretary, Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
