Gov hands over library books to GMS

Kohima, June 12 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya handed over Library Books to Government Middle School, Viswema and Joe Foundation Inclusive School, Kohima on June 12 as part of the ‘Library Programme’ sponsored by Team Naga Chetana, Rotary Club of Karkala and Reading Star, an NGO that works to ensure that every school is equipped with a library.

Governor Acharya called on the students to respect their teachers and to enrich themselves with knowledge. He also encouraged the students to read as much as they could and make use of the library in their schools.

The Governor also encouraged the teachers to strengthen the society by imparting right education and knowledge to their students. He also stated that everyone should make best use of the infrastructure in their institutions for the betterment of the students. He called on all to be positive and work with greater vision and enthusiasm.

This programme was motivated by India National Fellowship Centre (INFC), an NGO from Mumbai and initiated by Governor Acharya. The schools will also be given two dictionaries each to be used by the students and teachers.
