Kohima, June 22 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Secretary and Finance Commissioner, Temjen Toy has in an office memorandum informed that the Government e-Market (GeM of the Government of India will be organising a two day training at Kohima on June 25 and 26 in the Directorate of Information Technology & Communication, Thizama.
The Information Cell, Secretariat informed in a press release that the main objective of the training is to provide hands-on training to the State Government officials. It has also informed that the second half of the training would be used for registration of users on the portal as well as to familiarize the officers of the Departments in the use of GeM portal.
All Departments of the State Government have been directed to ensure that an officer not below the rank of Joint director along with the DDO is deputed to attend the training. Details of the names of the Departments, officers with names and designation have to be intimated to Finance Department on or before 23rd June 2018 at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It has also informed that local producers and entrepreneurs who are interested in getting themselves registered on the GeM portal may attend the afternoon sessions on any of the two days, with prior intimation to Finance Department at the mail address given above.
