Nagaland’s School Education Advisor KT Sukhalu today put across a challenge to all the government schools that he would sacrifice one month salary to whichever school that produces a student in Top 10 list in the board examination.

He said this while gracing the golden jubilee celebration of the Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma. Regretting that the government has been upgrading many schools but no infrastructure was given over the years, he said such state of affairs invites a lot of problem.

Sukhalu said that he was pondering on where to get fund to see that children stay in proper schools with good building, good facility and where teachers don’t have to worry about accomodation. “We are trying to settle it” he said.
