Governor, NMDA offer condolences

Dimapur, March 21 (MExN): Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya today expressed sadness at the demise of Dr. Temsu Changkiri on March 20 in Dimapur.  

In a condolence message, the Governor stated Dr. Temsu was one of the pioneers in the medical profession in Nagaland and was well known for his compassion and care for the poor and underprivileged people. His demise is a great loss to the people of Nagaland in general and his community in particular, he added.  

“Dr Temsu’s contribution for the betterment of the society and upliftment of the poor will be remembered forever,” Achaya stated and conveyed condolences to all family members. He prayed to the Almighty to grant strength and solace to them.   The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has also expressed shock over the demise of Dr. Temsu Changkiri whom it described as a renowned and respected surgeon of Dimapur. “Dr. Temsu Changkiri was a hard working doctor and dedicated towards his service to the general and needy public of Nagaland,” it acknowledged in a message.  

The association extended condolences to his family members and prayed to God to give enough strength to them to bear the grief. “We pray to the Almighty God that may the departed soul of Dr. Temsu Changkiri rest in peace and give enough strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss,” it added.
