Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has enhanced the allowance of Home Guards personnel under the Directorate of Civil Defence & Home Guards from Rs. 150 to Rs. 520 per head per day with effect from April 3.
This enhancement is in pursuance of the decision and judgment of the Supreme Court of India after two civil appeals in 2015, stated a circular issued by Home Commissioner to the Government Abhijit Sinha.
This is in concurrence with a Finance Department Accord and approval of State Cabinet, it added.
