‘The Great Decade’ from Nagaland performs in Chennai

The Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF) Night in Chennai was celebrated on August 12 at the CSI St. Matthias Church open amphitheater with the music band from Nagaland ‘The Great Decade.’ They performed ten songs including two original songs. 


This band was formed in 2016 and performed at the Hornbill International Rock Competition in 2017. 


In their recent Chennai tour, The Great Decade also performed at the Goddy’s Cafe on August 9.The band members are Temsuwapang (Vocal), Anok (Drums), Senti (Lead Guitarist) and Tongpang (Bassist). 


Meanwhile, Thirunavukkarasu, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police Greater Chennai City Police was the chief guest of the event who exhorted the gathering by stating to focus at the goal and purpose of the reason in Chennai. He extended full cooperation from the Chennai City Police to the Northeast people. He encourages the Northeast people to take care of their precious life and try to make the right choices in life especially while staying in Chennai.


Moreover, the event was organised to have a fellowship of all the Nagas in Chennai with music and food. It was attended by hundreds of people from different walks of life in Chennai.
