Haircutting & hairdressing orientation in Zunheboto

An orientation on haircutting and hairdressing was held at the ongoing Entrepreneurship and Skill Development programme at Sümi Hoho Ki in Zunheboto on May 28 with Tokai K Awomi, Inceptor, District Industries Centre, Zunheboto as resource person. Vinikali Awomi and Andy Imchen were the trainers.  

The resource person spoke on the various schemes and subsidies provided by the Govt. of Nagaland and also stressed on the importance of repaying back loans. He pointed out that one of the problems faced by the people in availing loan from the bank, especially PMEGP, is because of non-repayment of loans by the beneficiaries.

Tavinto Chishi, President, Green Club Zunheboto (GCZ) spoke on entrepreneurship and encouraged the trainees and young entrepreneurs to set up business with minimum budget. He further told them that sincerity and commitment will bring success.  

The training, sponsored by Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), is organised by CAN Youth based in Dimapur in collaboration with GCZ.
