‘Healing Home’ Prayer Summit concludes

Kohima, November 22 (MExN): A Prayer Summit on the theme “Healing Home” was held at the Kisama Naga Heritage Village from November 17 to 19. About 500 ‘prayer warriors’ stayed in the location and went for prayer walk around the whole Heritage Village, a press release informed.  

The main speakers of the Prayer Summit were Rev. Dr. Shiwoto Swu, Rev. Dr. Mong Lotha, Rev. Dr. Atsi Dolie, Rev. Dr. Wati Aier and Rev. Dr. Ponsing Konyak. The Prayer Summit, which was interdenominational, gathered about 1500 congregation during the Sunday morning service.  

In all the five services, prayers and intercessions were the main highlights where believers in one accord confessed the sins of Nagas and prayed for forgiveness. They also prayed for peace and tranquility in our land, corruption to be rooted out, required development might take place, clean election must take place, and elect God fearing leaders having genuine love and concern for the citizens and for the right solution and sovereignty of Naga political problem.  

At the end of every evening service, a special prayer was offered for youth volunteers and choir members. Prayers were made for Naga National Workers, Nagaland State Legislators, Bureaucrats, Police and Administrators that they would gain God’s wisdom to lead our people. Prayers were also made for young generation, school, college and university students, teachers, contractors, business sectors, village leaders, church leaders and missionaries.
