‘Healthy Attitude: Healthy Habits and Healthy lifestyle’

Kohima, April 7 (MExN): World Health Day 2018 was observed at Urban PHC Seikhazou, Kohima on April 7 based on the theme ‘Healthy Attitude: Healthy Habits and Healthy lifestyle.’ The event was attended by Community members, students from Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire Memorial Government Higher Secondary School and Government Middle School, Seikhazou, Community Workers, staff from urban Sub-Centres and UPHC.  

During the event, ‘Swacchata Pakhwada/Cleanliness Fortnight - Swachhata Se Siddhi Campaign’ was also observed at the centre. An open poster competition was organized for the students of two schools. Out of the 46 entries received, Neizokhonuo bagged the 1st prize while Theguoneizo Rutsa and Neiketouzo bagged the 2nd and 3rd Prizes respectively. 10 consolation prizes were given to the next best entries and every participant was given a small token.   Prizes along with certificate were distributed by Mhalezothie Khezie, Chairman, Health Centre Management Committee (HCMC). In his speech, the Chairman appraised the gathering on the significance of observing World Health Day.  

Dr. Bilva Yalie, Medical Officer, Urban PHC delivered the welcome address and Dr. Aomeren Longkumer, Medical Officer i/c, UPHC gave the closing remarks.
