HF&W State Monitoring team visits Wokha

WOKHA, October 15 (MExN): The State Monitoring Team of Health & Family Welfare officials led by Principal Secretary Menukhol John visited Wokha District recently.  

The visit, among others, was undertaken to have an overview of the functioning of Health units in the District, the ongoing Intensified Mission Indradhanush activities and also debriefing on the preparation of the Common Review Mission (CRM) visit in the month of November.  

The monitoring team divided themselves in groups and visited few Health Units, informed a press note from Mhonbeni Ezung Media Officer, NHM Wokha.  

The team along with the District Medical Staffs had a meeting where they presented their findings, observations existing in the health centres, and urged the District officials to give hand holding support to the health workers in maintaining proper records and documentation, and prioritize issues for improvements needed for better functioning of the health centre, it said.  

They also encouraged the District team to give their best efforts in providing health care services to the people at their doorstep, it added.

Abeni Asst Programme Manager MCTS, Niesa PM Maternal Health, and Achetla Asst Programme Manager HMIS.
