Mokokchung, June 3 (MExN): Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along visited Fazl Ali College on June 1. During his maiden visit to the college, the Minister interacted with the faculty and students and inspected the college infrastructure and the various laboratories in the college as well as the library.
On learning that FAC had produced toppers in Math Honours and Geography Honours among the graduating batch of 2018, the Minister announced a cash award of Rs 5000 each to the two toppers, Sentirenla (Maths) and Sakurepla (Geography), informed a press release received here.
He also announced that a state-of-the-art washroom for women would be installed in the college soon and encouraged the college in activities related to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Among those present during the interaction programme were Imkongwati, president, AKM (Ao Students' Conference) and officials from the Directorate of Higher Education, Kohima.
