Hindi Diwas celebrated at DPS Dimapur

Dimapur, September 5 (MExN): Hindi Diwas was celebrated at Delhi Public School Dimapur on September 4 with Dr Chandrasekhar Chaubey, Regional Director, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Dimapur as the Chief Guest. The programme was conducted in Hindi with a view to promote its usage, a release here informed. 24 students from 12 schools participated in the inter school Hindi Poem Recitation Competition on the poetry of Atal B Vajpayee.

 

Paridhi Jain of Hollotoli School and Meghna Prabhu of Army Public School Rangapahar emerged as the joint winner of the poem recitation competition with Saloni Verma of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dimapur and Naman Kr. Jain of DPS Dimapur securing the 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The the event was judged by Khrutsulu Dozo, PGT Hindi, Govt Higher Secondary School Dimapur, Waleniba Jamir, Principal, Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Training Institute, Dimapur, and Anjana Sabha Pandit, Lecturer, Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Training Institute, Dimapur. B.K Nanda, Principal of the host school welcomed the guests and the participants.
