Hornbill Fest: Day 8 pulls 49,897 visitors

Hornbill Festival 2018 on Day 8 at Naga Heritage village Kisama registered a total of 49, 897 visitors.   Out of 49,897 visitors, foreign tourists stood at 243, domestic tourists 6,624 and 43,027 local visitors.  

With this, the total number of visitors in eight days at the ongoing Hornbill Festival has gone up to 1,69,719. On day one, the festival registered 19,953 visitors, day 2- 43,079, day 3- 11,497, day four- 11,416, day five – 11,606, day six – 12,008 and day 7- 10,266, according to Nagaland’s Tourism Department.  

Meanwhile, day 9 (December 9) will be marked by cultural show, First Hornbill Badminton Tournament, City tours, Craftscape, Glocal Hornbill International Film festival, Traditional shot put, Horse Riding & Pony Cart Ride, NAAME adventure activities, Kids Carnival, Hipfest, Artist Corner/Competition/Exhibition, Night Carnival at Main Town Kohima and BOC Junction, Naga Chef season 6 final round, Hornbill International Music Festival, Traditional Evening Park, People's Festival Khezhakeno, trekking & Hiking of Mount Teyozwu, One act play at Bamboo Hall Kisama, Miss Nagaland 2018 and Christmas Concert (The Mustard Seed)- Kisama main arena.
