Hornbill International Rock Contest –Day 2

The snail paced vehicular traffic in Dimapur failed to dampen the Hornbill festivities at the 4th Mile Agri Expo site as thousands thronged the second day of the preliminary rounds of the Hornbill International Rock Contest despite the show starting behind schedule due to snail pace traffic along the NH 29 road stretch resulting in a lot of music lovers stranded mid way on their way to the venue.

The eight acts performing on the second day of the preliminary rounds were Hidden Identity (Kolkota), Serenade (Kolkota), Switchblade (Kohima), The Kids we used to know (USA), North H (Thimpu), Daira (Mumbai), Head Motif (Darjeeling) and Titans (Tura).

The third day of the preliminary rounds will also witness a special performance by the Voice of Nagaland (VON) in addition to performances by the final eight bands for this year’s HIRC. The show was hosted by Moanungsang Jamir.
