Hosanna: Kohima eagerly awaits Bob Fitts’ Praise Fiesta

  US singer and veteran Praise & Worship leader Bob Fitts will be performing and leading the congregation at a concert being held at the State Academy Hall in Kohima from January 19 to 21.   Under the theme, ‘Praise Fiesta’ the concert is being organised by various churches under the Christian Revival Church in collaboration with Pro Drivers.   Addressing a press conference at Seasons Café, Kohima, Setuo Neikha, Co-ordinator stated that the concert was envisioned to encourage the young and facilitate 'the enthusiastic praise and worship teams in Nagaland while also keeping in mind to reach out and win more souls for Jesus Christ through music'.   A seminar and interaction with Bob Fitts will also be held to train the young enthusiastic praise and worship leaders on Saturday January 20.   The three day concert is also expected to attract the youth from Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and Meghalaya.   The organisers informed that the three-day concert is free and open to all which will begin at 4:30 pm starting from Friday evening while the seminar will be held on January 20 (Saturday) from 10 am onwards. James Basnet and Jack Pucho will also be performing at the praise and worship concert.   A song writer and praise and worship leader since the 1970s, some of the popular songs of Bob Fitts are 'Blessed be the Lord God Almighty', 'Take my healing to the nations', 'He will come and save you', and 'Roman 16:19'.   In addition to his worldwide ministry as a leader of praise and worship, Bob and Kathy founded Alabaster Ministries, a charitable organization that provides materially, financially and spiritually to fatherless and widows through practical acts of service and Christian worship.   Leading worship since the 1970s, Fitts gained International recognition when he started recording for Integrity Music's "Hosanna" series.
