Humble opinion over Yimchungrü-Tikhir (Sub-dialect) issue

Issuing and counter issuing the self-justified statements over the same matter time and again without giving even the slightest thought of delving deep into the veracity of the reasonable stance and records would only intensify our hatred, devoid of a scope for opening a humane window to come over a negotiating table for an amicable settlement of the present lacuna. It is true that at one point of time I was a pro-Tikhir and the President of Shamator Village Students’ Union when Rithrongkiu Tatar of NSCN (K) was killed in the morning of 11th of July 2007 somewhere between Anatonger and Sekiur village. Out of suspicion, I was kidnapped in the evening of 12th July 2007 by a group of NSCN (K) men placing my life at the brink of death. At this hardest moment of my life, no officials of the so-called Tikhir Tribal council (TTC) and Tikhir Students’ Union (TSU) came forward to negotiate and rescue me. But by the grace God, there were only Students’ Union and Council of  Shamator village, YTC and YAA who  intervened and rescued me. Therefore, the question of accusing Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC)/ Yimchungrü Akherü Arih-Ako (YAA) by the so called Tikhir Students’ Union (TSU) without verifying the validity of the volatile moment does not arise. Being a pro-Tikhir at one point of time and, I had enough experience. This experience had at last moulded my life and object. I had no grudge feelings against any individual (s), organization(s),etc. Hence, branding of my name making me a scape-goat by dragging me in the Yimchungrü-Tikhir Issues, and falsely giving the reason of my new turn in the society of my progenitor to a petty reason as to that of “forceful”, “kidnapping”, etc, is unbecoming of a responsible individual(s) or Organization(s). The author of a book knows better than the readers about the said book. Thus, the explanation and revelation of the intention by the author towards writing the said book cannot be questioned because who is in the better and juristic position to explain far better than the author himself who pen-down, and published? I know who my progenitors were, where they came, and how we merged with the fellow brothers. Precisely, our progenitors, who lived  together, dispersed and met at the intersecting point knows the reason more than their off-shoots; the reason why they should live again together like ever before. It is expedient to brief that my grandfathers were the pioneers of the Yimchungrü tribe. History, culture and affinity were the only reason for the extant conglomeration of Six home-dialect group into Yimchungrü tribe. The truth of our progenitors was the only mistake being committed as the adage goes “truth is bitter”. Unfortunately, they were so naive and ignorant to realize that their progenies would dilute their heart-yearning emotional attachment and spirit of true brotherhood in the days to come. They were so naive to understand that their progenies would invent an unfounded history, culture and tradition as an excuse to break the cohesive chains of the ancestral pride by asserting one’s selfishness, idioticy, heartless and outside ism like in the present case.
To every problem there is a solution because problems which do not have a solution cannot be accredited as a problem. I can see that the Yimchungrü-Tikhir issue has no solution which implies that it is not a problem; therefore, we should not see it as a problem. Rather, it is a slight and petty misunderstanding demanding merely our sincerity and efficiency. Wait and see who else would come to our rescue. Let us conceive this truth in an un-bias mind-set: see, in the name of compassion, pecuniary and moral aids, and other related contribution by the outside elements how much our people are degrading. Their intentions and actions often differ and contrast as they are aware of the fact that in our weakness lies their secret strength; don’t we discovered? Can’t we see that in every benefit our people are at loss? Come on! its high time to give a sane thought over the finest realistic base of you and me. Let us wait for the right time when Tikhir brothers may also be amicably accredited a new status as an indigenous and Schedule tribe of Nagaland as desired. Perhaps this is not the right time and our understanding is very narrow and immature. Let us forgive and forget our past mistakes because only then we can discover our secret strength. I pray to our Almighty God to give the leaders of both the parties to endow them a sound mind and body so that our ancient pride of utmost integrity and supremacy is maintained to fulfill the decade-longing of our progenitors whose disgruntled souls are watching us with a tears of remorse and un-yielded desire to build the strongest house belonging to you and me.”
