Kohima, March 8 (MExN): The new government which was sworn in Kohima today wasted little time in issuing a transfer and posting order for IAS/NCS and other officers.
“In the interest of public service, the Governor of Nagaland is pleased to order the transfer and posting of IAS/NCS and other officers with immediate effect,” a notification from new Chief Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Temjen Toy read.
Among the officers to be named in the transfer order include Rural Development Secretary and Secretary to former Chief Minister, Kelei Zeliang, who has been relieved of the charge of Secretary to Chief Minister.
His replacement as Secretary to Chief Minister will be Home Commissioner, Abhishek Singh, IAS, who has also been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, P&AR Department with Angau I. Thou, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Tourism, being relieved of the charge of P&AR Department.
Menukhol John, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, has been given additional charge of School Education Department.
Asalie Lese, NCS, Under Secretary, Art & Culture, was transferred and posted as Under Secretary, Land Revenue Department.
