Mon, August 17 (MExN): Partnering in implementing various activities and programmes for the further strengthening of ICDS programmes, Mon ADP, World Vision India (WVI) constructed five ICDS centres and renovated three ICDS centres in Mon and Wakching blocks this year. 


A press release from Coordinator, Development Facilitation, Mon ADP, WVI stated that since the day Mon ADP, WVI and Social Welfare Department, Mon signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in October 2015, they have been closely working for the upliftment of vulnerable section of the people in the communities. In the presence of Christabel Kalaiselvi Group Director-Operation WVI, Samuel Therieh Associate Director PMO Guwahati and community leaders Khupao Hengna DPO, Mon and M Tongwang Yanlam CDPO, Mon, Totok Chinglen ICDS Centre and Totok Chingnyu ICDS Centre ‘A’ was inaugurated respectively on August 13.
