Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): The Ikowo Village Level Organisation (VLO) office was inaugurated by Avelu Ruho, ADC, Pughoboto on May 8. A press release informed that the inaugural programme was also attended by Vice chairman Pughoboto Adhoc Town council, VLO executive members, SHG members and NSRLM block staffs.
During the program, the ADC Pughoboto encouraged the women folks to be pro-active. Stating that women have the ability to multi-task, she urged them to use that ability to bring change in the society and also increase economy of their locality, the release added.
Viyikhu Wotsa, Vice chairman, Pughoboto Adhoc Town Council also encouraged the SHG members to judiciously utilize the fund provided by NSLM.
Kanitoli Chishi, Block Program Manager congratulated and encouraged the members of VLO for their hard work and efforts.
The programme was chaired by Ghonili Shohe, Treasurer, Ikowo VLO, while Alivi Yeptho pronounced the dedicatory prayer for the office building.
