I'll never retire: Dolly Parton

There's no stopping Dolly Parton even though she recently celebrated her 70th birthday. The country icon was honored at the Movieguide Awards in LA on Friday night for her TV film Coat Of Many Colors and she told DailyMail.com she doesn't even think about slowing down.   'The only thing that would stop me is if I just couldn't do it for health reasons, but as long as I can do it I want to do it. I'll never retire,' she said.   The actress and humanitarian added: 'I wouldn't know what to do. I'm excited every day. I still love it.'

Coat Of Many Colors, based on her experiences growing up in rural Tennessee, scored 13 million viewers for NBC when it was broadcast at Christmas.   'It really did well and everybody wants us to do some more and we are in discussions about what we should do and when we should do it,' she revealed.   Joining her at the awards ceremony that recognizes family-friendly movies and TV shows was the young actress who played Dolly as a child in the made-for-TV film.   Alyvia Alyn Lind, 8, won plaudits for her performance and Dolly herself had nothing but praise for the youngster.   'She did great. She is so talented on her own,' Dolly said. 'She made me look really good. 'I couldn't have found a better me,' she added.
