Donald Trump is set to be come a grandfather for the third time after his daughter Ivanka announced her first pregnancy. The 29-year-old businesswoman took to Twitter, writing: 'I have been wanting to share some amazing news with you all for some time... I'm pregnant! 'Jared and I couldn't be more excited.' Ivanka married businessman Jared Kushner in 2009 shortly after she converted to Judaism.
She recently told Britain's OK! magazine that seeing her older brother Donald Trump Jr and his wife Vanessa's joy at sons Kai, three, and Donald III, 17 months, had encouraged her to start a family. 'It’s so exciting,' she said. 'My brother is over-the-moon, and he’s an amazing father. 'And his wife is an incredible mother to their two beautiful children. 'It’s very encouraging to see such a happy, beautiful family, and I hope to have one of my own one day.'
Last night Ivanka skillfully hid her baby bump as she headed to a screening of the film No Strings Attached in New York. The former model teamed black leggings with a long sequinned top, holding her hand over her stomach as she was photographed. Her fellow celebrities were quick to offer their congratulations.
Piers Morgan tweeted: 'Congrats to @IvankaTrump on her pregnancy news - bet she wins a Most Glamorous Mum award before end of the year.' And Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes added his congratulations. Ivanka works for her father and is currently Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at The Trump Organization. She also has her own line of jewellery. Ivanka, the second oldest of Trump's five children, is known for her appearances on her father's show The Apprentice.
