Mokokchung, December 4 (MExN): The long felt need for pediatricians and gynecologists at the Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital in Mokokchung (IMDH) has finally been answered. The IMDH had been in need of pediatricians and gynecologists – two crucial departments in a hospital, and it appears the Health & Family Welfare Department finally acquiesced to the demand. Expressing pleasure over the development, the Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (MTLT) extended sincere appreciation to the Health & Family Welfare Department and the state Medical Minister Imkong L Imchen “for listening to the voice of the people and deputing qualified pediatricians and gynecologists”. “The MTLT strongly feels that this filling up of the different departments in the IMDH, will go a long way in alleviating the plight of the patients at IMDH,” a press release from the MTLT stated. While acknowledging the dedicated services of the doctors, nurses and staff of IMDH, the MTLT encouraged them to continue their service of humanity.
