The Department of Economics, Immanuel College organised a one-day educational exposure visit to ViVa Water Packaging Company at its headquarter in Dimapur on June 3. Altogether 33 students and 2 faculty members visited the headquarter observed the filtration process and the functioning of the company, informed a press release from the college Media Cell Convener Akutu Poireng.
The students also learnt that with the help of automatic and semi-automatic machines produces approximately 40,000 bottles of water every day, and how it is filtered six times under different process. A microbiologist and a chemist also ensure that quality water,it said.
In tune with the course, they also learnt about the demand and supply of the product and how the company tackles inflationary situations, it added.
