Immanuel Taekwondo Academy wins Faith in Action inter-school taekwondo c’ship

Dimapur, November 13 (MExN): Immanuel Taekwondo Academy emerged as the overall champions by winning 16 Gold, 12 Silver and 5 Bronze medals at the 7th Faith in Action Inter-school Taekwondo Championship 2023 held on November 11 at Grace Academy, GC Paira Colony, Burma Camp Dimapur. 

Organised by Faith in Action Martial Arts Academy (FAMAA), Deep Kumar founder coach of FAMAA further stated that Westside School bagged the first runners up trophy with 14 Gold, 14 Silver and 11 Bronze medals whereas, Little Star Hr Sec School secured the second runners up trophy with 12 Gold, 5 Silver and 13 Bronze medals. Meanwhile, the Best Active Team Trophy was clenched by St Mary’s Montessori Hr Sec School.

In Kyorugi (sparring) competition, few participants from various schools and academies in the took home the titles of ‘Best Fighter’ in both the male and female categories, They were Imtirenla Imsong (Immanuel Taekwondo Academy), Tinoto Swu (Immanuel Taekwondo Academy), Aryan Rai (Livingstone Foundation International), Kutsho Medo (Westside School), Newto Swu (Immanuel Taekwondo Academy), Totivi Sumi (Little star Hr Sec School), Atobo Awomi (Westside School), Tina Thapa (Christian Hr Sec School), Ruungunuo Elizabeth (St Mary’s Montessori Hr Sec School) and Khruketulu Khapo (Westside School).
