Imnasenla Aier launches debut album ‘Hear Me Now’

Singer and song writer, Imnasenla Aier today launched her debut album, ‘Hear Me Now’ at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur. The album was released by Deputy Commissioner, Kevekha Kevin Zehol in the presence of Retired DGP O Alem and a host of family, friends and well wishers.


DC Zehol, a senior musician himself and currently working on his third album during the launch lauded Imnasenla on her maiden release. “It is not easy to be a singer. You need lots of guts,” DC Zehol said while adding that even though there are many gifted with musical talents, only a few with determination and sincerity can taste success.


Imnasenla, who is a grade-8 vocalist and top-1 student of Rock School London, said she draws inspiration from singers like Lauren Daigle and Alobo Naga. She also dedicated a song “Hero” to her late father, whom she looks up to.


Sunep Lemtur, musician and proprietor of Sunep Lemtur School of Music and Media 24/7 and the composer and a mentor to Imnasenla congratulated her for her success. The album has eight original songs, including one in Ao dialect. The album was reviewed by Moanunsang, first Naga Idol winner, musician and song writer.


Imnasenla has performed at Royal Edinburgh Festival Scotland, Cultural Exchange Studies US, Handshake Concert Korea. She also dapples in acting. The songs are available at artistaloud.com, INDIHUT, YouTube and iTunes for download.
