Neikotsilie Krose is ASA U-16 Wrestling champ
Winners of junior category for the 48th ASA Wrestling Meet and others at Kohima Local Ground, Thursday. 

 

Kohima, February 13 (MExN): Neikotsilie Krose overpowered Vilhousielie Kehie in the final bout to take the first Under-16 wrestling championship title on the second day of the 48th Angami Sports Association (ASA) wrestling meet 2020 at at Khuochiezie Kohima Local Ground, Thursday. 


Krose representing Chakhro Sports Association (CSA) walked home richer with a cash prize of Rs 25,000, and runners up Kehie of Western Angami Youth Organisation with Rs. 20,000.


Kekhrievor Sekhose (NASA) and Peranei-u Pielie (NASA) stood in third and fourth position respectively. They received Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively.


Retired Chief Engineer PHE Kevisekho Kruse graced the valedictory function as guest of honour. 


A total of 40 wrestlers participated in the junior wrestling competition from ASA's four units-- Chakhro Sports Association, Northern Angami Sports Association, Southern Sports Association and Western Angami Youth Organisation.
